To support our very rapid growth in this globally expanding market, our German team is looking to grow with an experienced Business Development Manager.
  • Skills & Experience

    • You have completed education in carpentry, timber construction, or wood technology, or comparable professional training as an engineer or equivalent through experience.

    • You have a lot of desire for acquisition, sales, and consulting, filled with a passion for wood construction, innovations, and BIM.

    • Preferably, you have extended experience with Revit/AutoCAD applications, as well as offsite construction and SaaS (Software as a Service)

    • As a seasoned salesperson, you have a proven track record of sales and deal-making. You’re a goal-getter. Bringing in results is what makes you tick.

    • You have a friendly and open personality, and your excellent communication skills are what describes you best.

    • You have a strong customer and service orientation.

    • You’re an autonomous person, but you can also work in a team.

    You’re a networker. You run out of business cards at each trade show or conference. You‘re a born negotiator.

    • You have a readiness to travel …% of your time

    • You are native German and fluent in English; any other language is an asset.

  • Responsibilities

    • Your goal is to form long-term partnerships with clients in your portfolio and new clients. As a seasoned salesperson, you are the go-getter to make our business grow! This will result in the expansion of our client base.

    • You will identify qualified leads, manage the sales process and win new business.

    • You will boost the awareness of the added value of the hsbcad products and services.

    • Your initiatives to drive our growth are endless (both internally and externally), and you’ll take the lead in creating opportunities for direct sales by creating and delivering sales pitches.

    • You’re always looking for new growth opportunities and proactively initiate conversations with potential clients. In addition, you’ll increase hsbcad’s visibility and business opportunities at conferences and trade shows; you’ll be attending them intensively.

    • You’ll negotiate the contracts and agreements and take the lead in major and strategic sales projects.

    • Due to your experience, you’ll be the inspirator and the mentor of your team. You’re teaching them the insights when it comes to sales knowledge.

    • You’ll document leads, opportunities, proposals, and related activities in our CRM.

    • Our agile environment will allow you to take on a lot of autonomy and responsibility.

    • You can count on an extensive onboarding and training period of 3 to 6 months to learn the insights of AutoCAD and Revit.
